Morning session
. There will be group exercises to help connect the group to each other and their experiences of whisky through interview techniques and sensory prompts. We will focus on oral storytelling and writing in a mix of outputs in the morning session. We will be inspired by how other artists use storytelling in their practice and use a variety of basic art materials (paper, charcoal, camera phones, objects, found materials) to play with different ways of using language as a medium.
Lunch
. A focus on the afternoon will be about bringing the material generated in the morning together to create a performance / presentation of the stories generated. We will consider how best to create a stage, how immersive it can be using video and other installations and how audience participation can be utilised for the best user experience.
